Bishop/Elijah Chair & Guest Chair Collection

Our handcrafted Bishop and Guest Chair collection was designed as a unified liturgical furniture set, combining traditional craftsmanship, architectural presence, and timeless elegance.

Each chair was individually constructed from solid white oak and shares the same distinctive design language, including the arched back, sculpted arms, refined joinery, and carefully balanced proportions. The guest chairs mirror the Bishop Chair in design, but are scaled to smaller proportions so the entire collection feels cohesive while allowing the Bishop Chair to remain the visual focal point.

The Bishop Chair is larger and more commanding in scale and incorporates a custom built-in swivel mechanism that is integrated directly into the chair’s construction. This unique functional element allows the chair to rotate smoothly while preserving the appearance and integrity of a traditional handcrafted chair.

The matching guest chairs maintain the same elegant silhouette, arched back, and handcrafted detailing, creating a consistent and distinguished seating ensemble throughout the sanctuary.

All chairs were upholstered in a deep, regal purple fabric featuring the Jackson pattern, selected to complement the warmth and natural grain of the white oak.
